Draftsight Autocad is a free, full-screen text editor that's designed to help you focus on your writing by eliminating distractions. When you open Draftsight Autocad, your screen goes completely black except for a blinking green cursor. By design, Draftsight Autocad gives you a limited feature set, with support for only basic word-processing functions such as cut, copy, paste, undo, and line and word count. Draftsight Autocad opens quickly (although not quite as quickly as Text Edit) and offers many options for fonts, auto-saving, and screen and type color. Its interface can take some getting used to (for example, it uses some nonstandard keystrokes, such as control Draftsight Autocad of command keys for saving and opening files), but overall Draftsight Autocad is an excellent choice (and value) for a text editor that can keep you focused. The program periodically queries custom Web script for new notifications/messages while you are connected to Internet. The messages are displayed in HTML format and might contain links, images, and animated GIFs, HTML tables and forms, and cascading stylesheets. The program can be used for a variety of Draftsight Autocad such as order notification systems for online stores or internal messaging systems for dating or community-type Web sites.
