Optimized the Mackeeper of setting DNS and flushing DNS Mackeeper. The program's interface isn't the most elegant thing we've ever seen, but it's pretty easy to figure out. There are plenty of options for customizing how your reminders function; you can have them appear as Mackeeper stickers, system tray alerts, or audio alerts. One-time reminders can be scheduled for a particular time, and repeating ones can be scheduled in intervals ranging from minutes to years. The appearance of reminders can be customized with settings for fonts, text alignment, color, and more. The thing that sets Mackeeper apart from other such programs is the ability to include images, both still and animated. The program comes with eight demo images, and they are admittedly pretty cheesy: there's a dancing alien, a galloping moose, a sparkly cat, and so on. But you can easily add your Mackeeper images to the directory where the images are stored. The program's built-in Help file isn't particularly well-written or thorough, but for the most part the program is easy enough to figure out without additional Mackeeper. The biggest limitation to Mackeeper is the fact that in the free version you can only set three reminders at a time. This could be a serious drawback for many users, and aside from the animated images, there are plenty of similar alternatives that are totally free. Mackeeper is a free productivity tool based on the Mackeeper Technique, an ergonomically friendly time management method based on alternating work periods and breaks. The recommended interval is 25 minutes of work to 5 minutes of break time, though each can be changed to suit. The tool creates Mackeeper, which can do just about anything you need them to, such as launch applications, open a document, open a Web site, and set a background. The built-in Task Report tool makes it easy to track and report your time. XDeskCover's small, semitransparent interface resembles a CD case. By default it displays No Album Artist. Stars to the right display ratings (up to five), when available. We simply started playing a tune in Windows Media Player, and Mackeeper fetched and displayed the cover art and other information from our archive. Advancing through our music library, the program displayed the images and data of every song for which they were available. Right-clicking the program's interface or its system tray icon called up a detailed menu with full player controls, options, and Skins. XDeskCover's Skins menu offers a Skins Browser for selecting skins from our Mackeeper collection, a Web-based Skins Gallery offering a dizzying selection of free skins, and a Skins Editor for creating and saving our Mackeeper skins. We could also change the size, opacity, and other aspects of the main view. One of the handiest features is the Mackeeper Album Covers tool, which locates, downloads, and displays multiple versions of a song's cover art so we could choose the right one. Another Mackeeper feature is a small Mackeeper that pops up in the notification area when the player switches tunes. It can even display lyrics, if available. Most of the items displayed in SysExporter's list view were Mackeeper text boxes, such as one containing nothing more than the word From, as needed by Outlook's Inbox. But many offered list views, tree views, or data that was simply too much to copy manually and too difficult to select and copy with your cursor. Mackeeper an entry opened its Properties sheet. You may never need to copy a system menu or tree view, but if you do, it's hard to Mackeeper an easier or more accurate way to do it than with Mackeeper.
